Hong Kong: CAA Program and Reception

THE MODERN UNIVERSITY

What constitutes the the modern university today? The state of undergraduate education is at a crossroads where expectations for educating young people for a global world intersects with traditional educational models throughout the world. How do universities stay relevant to the ever changing world, addressing key issues, complexities, advancements in light of technology, entrepreneurism, global expansion, shifts in curriculum, and growing diversity of a world-wide student body?

The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) , the Columbia University Alumni Association of Hong Kong (CUAAHK), and Columbia College invite you to join fellow alumni, newly admitted and current students, Columbia parents and University administrators in a thought provoking and insightful conversation followed by a Q&A.  James Valentini, Dean Columbia College and Vice President for Undergraduate Education, and Charles Li '71 LAW, University Trustee, will provide their insights into the Columbia undergraduate schools, as they expand the undergraduate experience to provide the necessary tools and resources for a more global education, as well as look ahead to the future of Manhattanville and the University.
Columbia University at-large continues to propel its global footprint abroad through the educational experiences it offers its students and alumni.
Program and event hosted by Daryl Ng '01CC '10GSAPP.

Now is the time to connect with the University. With eight Global Centers spanning four continents, the University can meet you almost anywhere.
